2 out of 3 women don’t get the nutrients they need in their diets—and they don’t even realize it. Could a supermarket help close this nutrition gap?

There’s a gender gap when it comes to nutrients: 2 out of 3 women aren’t getting the nutrients they need—and they don’t even realize it.

To raise awareness, we created The Shortfall Supermarket, an NYC pop-up where the aisles were organized by the five shortfall nutrients women are missing in their diets, all of which are present in Special K cereal.

Attendees could take a quiz to determine their own nutrient shortfall, shop the aisles, sample exclusive Special K dishes, and donate to Girl Up, an organization that’s helping close the nutrient gap for girls around the world.
